The Pipe Prover are primarily designed to validate the measuring characteristics of flowmeters that generate pulse signals, whether directly or indirectly. This includes positive displacement flowmeters, turbine flowmeters, and mass flowmeters. These facilities find extensive applications in sectors such as petroleum, chemicals, refining, ports, commerce, and scientific research.
The facilities comprise a standard pipe prover, a converting unit and a control system. This comprehensive setup is packaged as a large-scale equipment solution. Our company offers a water proving system to pair with a pipe prover, including standard metal tanks.
The "standard volume" of these facilities refers to the volume measured under standard conditions (20°C and 101.325 kPa). During the proving process, the standard volume is converted into the liquid volume flowing through the flowmeter. This volume is then compared with the corresponding number of pulses generated by the flowmeter, allowing for the evaluation of the flowmeter's performance.
